I got myself a stamp press today, my order arrived I'm so excited and couldn't open the package fast enough. I love that I can stamp in place first time perfectly every time now, and if it's not the right shade first go I can re stamp over and over in the exact same place until I get it to where I want it. No more messy inky fingers,

I highly recommend a stamp press anyone who loves stamping as much as I do, there are many versions out there I got mine from craftonline with free delivery over $50, as well as the mist and the new ink color all craftonline.

I cannot stop using them. :-)

Sunday, November 18

I created this layout using the CSI guide for case FILE 266, this is my first entry for the CSI challenge, as I am not really sure how and what to make of something that is blank, so I gave it ago following the picture and colors they have provided and came up with this layout, which has quite a few elements to it, as you can imagine, it was quite difficult putting this one together as I kept going back checking colors and the layout requirements etc. But it was fun and a great experience, and a different type of challenge, the details are below of what was required.

  • Geometric patterns
  • Bricks
  • Embossed or textured paper
  • Stars
  • Hearts
  • Birds (or other animals)
  • Frames
  • Clock
  • Puffy stickers
  • Telephone or other gadget
  • Flowers
  • Phrase sticker
  • Bottle or jar
  • Mimic the boxed shelving as a design element
  • Fabric
  • Dangle something
  • Add something (or many things) completely unexpected to your page.
  • Topic: Document something you do every day.
  • Prompt Idea: It’s Thanksgiving month. Thank something unexpected. Check this out for ideas of what I mean.
  • Presentation: Display your journaling in a frame or on a shelf-of-sorts with some other decorative elements.
  • Writing Format: Write a list of random things about your subject.
  • Inspiration Words: vibrant, quirky, unexpected

Hope you enjoyed my interpretation, thanks for stopping by.

I'm entering this layout in the

CSI, color, stories, Inspiration challenge

This is one of many photos I found from the 100s of kms I walked years ago in the name of charity when I able to, now cannot not even walk to the shops and back due to stroke complications, but will always have the memories and achievements on the walk that will last a life time, plenty of happy memories to be proud off, despite getting trolled upon, I kept walking where ever I possibly could in the name of charity, now I scrapbook the happy memories I had, on a much brighter note.

I remember camping out in the tent the night I stayed in this town, and it was cold wet and rainy, I also remember getting invited for dinner which was lovely and appreciated.

Then it was time to walk around town again, get a few more ks in and then it was the coach to the next town and more walking, at this stage I had given up the buggy and walking the highways due to it being to dangerous and or people didn't believe me. Lol. But one foot in front of another I kept going. I did not take many photos as I should have as I was on my own most of the time but these day I'm more confident in taking many more. But many knew where I was up to and where I was going to next. I would not ever do something as big as this again, even if I could it's very demanding and time consuming and exhausting and most of all it is rewarding, but happy to assist and guide anyone that would love to do something similar back of house.
